Inventory Control/Surplus Property
The purposes of Inventory Control/Surplus Property are to:
- Maintain correct and current information of departmental property inventory
- Tag new equipment.
- Update inventory records of all purchases over $500 in purchase price
- Approve the transfer of equipment between departments
- Approve the transfer of equipment to Surplus property
- Process yearly manual inventory counts by the departments
- Keep the University in compliance with the inventory regulations put forth by the Commonwealth.
