Computation

Recall that we first must identify the essential degree of the denominator, say r, and then divide every term in the numerator and denominator by xr. [We’re really multiplying the expression by 1 by multiplying both numerator and denominator by 1
xr. We then reduce the resulting individual fractions as much as we can. We then analyze what happens to the remaining components as x →∞.
