Dr. Donnelly's Australia Tour
The game we went to see at the Sydney Football Stadium had the Sydney Roosters taking on the Melbourne Storm. There was a good sense of rivalry about the game, and it was closely contested until the home team took the lead for good with about ten minutes to play. This is a shot of one of the "insurance" goals that the Roosters scored that put the game out of reach.
Most of the professional rugby teams play out of Sydney. Aussie Rules Football is a variant of rugby, and is played mostly in Victoria (which is where Melbourne is located).
