built around three phases: 1) fieldwork, where local traditional artists are
identified by the folklorist, possibly with the help of students; 2) teacher
or adult workshops, where folk arts and folklife are defined, residency activities
planned, and follow-through strategies considered; and 3) presentations, where
visiting traditional artists perform, demonstrate or conduct workshops.

their work. One-week stay. Housing in a rustic Civilian Conservation Corps cabin,

artist selected will be asked to contribute a piece of work representative of
their stay at the park, to be displayed in teh cabins and throughout the park.
Must be willing to reside in a secluded environment. Deadline Oct. 1.
