James M. Hereford received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford in 1982, the MSEE degree in 1985 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1990. He has over 8 years of industry experience and is presently teaching in the Engineering and Physics department at Murray State University in Murray, KY. His research interests are in the areas of evolvable systems, fault tolerant algorithms, and swarm robotics. He is a member of IEEE, Phi Beta Kappa, and Tau Beta Pi.
