I am an applied statistician. I teach statistics and mathematics, I provide consulting for faculty and students in many fields, and I pursue research in fields of my interest, including goodness-of-fit, statistical education, and statistical ecology. I am also constantly learning about statistics, data science, and many other disciplines of interest to me. I am an avid useR and I am teaching myself and my students the principles of the tidyverse.

I have been at Murray State University since 2000 and I am currently a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, which is in the Jesse D. Jones College of Science, Engineering, and Technology.

I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in mathematics education in 1991 and from the University of Northern Colorado with a M.S. (1997) and Ph.D. (2000) in applied statistics.
