Membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society is an honor bestowed upon students in baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs who have demonstrated excellence. Students who meet the qualifications for membership while enrolled in Murray State University nursing programs receive invitations from the Delta Epsilon Chapter Faculty Counselor prior to the spring and fall induction ceremonies.

BSN or MSN graduates who have been in practice are also eligible for membership as community leaders. To be considered, community members must be nominated by a current member of the Delta Epsilon Chapter. Community leaders must submit a vitae and letter of recommendation from the Delta Epsilon member nominating them for membership.
