Outlines
These outlines are provided for your use and convenience in taking notes and in order to provide detailed information that is not practical to copy down in class such as graphs, tables & illustrations. It is recommend you print these out prior to class and use them to take notes.
There are a total of three outlines, one for each unit. The outline
titles are listed under the unit where the particular outline is used. To get a copy
of any outline you will need to download the file. Exact procedure to download and
save a file varies with the browser you use. Most likely you will find the save
command listed under the file command located at the top of your screen.
NOTE: When downloading
a file, ensure that you remember where you saved the file.
The outlines are in "PDF" format. In order to read and
print the outline files, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. This reader is free
and comes in specific versions for the different operating systems. To get the
reader, click on Adobe
Acrobat Reader, download the file for your operating system and follow the
instructions that come with the reader to install the program.
NOTE: You may find it easier to download and install the reader
first and then download the outline files. You will only need to download and
install the reader once.
If you previously downloaded an outline file, in order to view it, go to File/Open in the reader and select the directory where you saved the file. After opening the file you may scroll from page to page and read it on the screen. If you want to print the entire file or just parts of it go to File, then select Print. On the next screen select what pages you want to print. NOTE: For best printing, check the box next to "Shrink to Fit." This should keep everything on one page that is intended to be on one page.
