   Economics and Public Policy of the Telecommunications Industry (3) The study of market performance and business practices of the telecommunications industry. Includes topics such as market power, merger analysis, vertical relationships, entry and regulation of price and lines of business.

   To give students a global perspective of the economic and financial state of the telecommunications industry as well as an understanding of the economic, regulatory, and technological forces that have shaped the industry's evolution to date and that will shape its development in the future.

Make-up exams and quizzes will not be given. The weight of the final exam will be increased by the weight of missed quizzes. The maximum weight of the final is 30%. Late research assignments will not be accepted.

   Classes are like business meetings. Our business can't be completed unless everyone shows up. I'll be there.
