Domestic Call: Dial 1 + 9 + area code + seven digit phone number. This is a toll call.
International Call: Dial 1 + 9 + 011 + country code + city code + phone number.
Calling Card Call: Dial 9 + 5 digit calling card company code + 0 + area code + seven digit phone number.
Collect Call: Dial 9 + 0 + area code + seven digit phone number.
Credit Card Call: Dial 9 + 0 area code + seven digit phone number.
Operator-Assisted Call: Dial 9 + 00, and wait for operator to assist.
Murray State Directory Information: Dial 0.
Murray City and Long Distance Directory Information: Dial 1 + 9 + area code + 555-1212.
Telephone RepairTo report a problem with your telephone service or equipment between the hours or 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., contact the Telephone Repair Office at 4400. If reporting a phone problem during the evening or on the weekend, please leave a message and we will prepare a work order as soon as the office opens.
