Globalization Grant Proposal Form:
Fall 2005

Purpose:

The Institute for International Studies sponsors the Globalization Grants program to promote the globalization of the Murray State curriculum through innovative faculty projects.

Guidelines:

All Murray State University faculty are eligible for this program. Awards will support projects which result in new international content in specific courses.  Some disciplines naturally have more global content. The purpose of this grant is to support innovative globalization activities in all disciplines including those not traditionally encompassing international education. There will be five $400 grants awarded. Successful applicants will be required to submit a report on the outcomes of their project. Applicants will be eligible for future Globalization Grants upon submission of this report.

Example Projects:

  • Development of instructional/presentation materials.
  • New content modules for existing courses.
  • Significant revision of content for current courses.
  • Development of new courses.

  • Relevant Background of Applicant, i.e. Academic preparation, relevant research and/or past or planned participation in international educational activities.
