On Campus Interviews
The Career Services office hosts many employers throughtout the year. For a list of employers and when they will be coming to campus, click on the link below. As a Murray State student, there is also a process for you to schedule an interview with an on-campus recruiter. All you have to do is take approximately five minutes to complete a profile on our web site for access to this and several other features of eRecruiting, our on-line database.
STUDENTS
eRecruiting Steps to Create Account / Upload Resume / Apply for interview
If you do not have an eRecruiting account, set one up, it only takes a few minutes. Follow these steps; If you already have an account, skip creating an account and Log into your account
Create an Account
From MSU home page/ Select Career Services / Click Experience icon in the top right corner of screen / Select Create an Account -middle of page on the left
Upload a Resume/Cover Letter
Log into eRecruiting using your username and password
Select upload a document under documents tab on the navigation bar
Choose the document type on the upload a document page and click next
Click Browse to select your document
Choose the correct document and click open
Click upload
*After the document is uploaded, Career Services Staff will review it for approval. You will receive an email regarding the status for your document (approved/declined).
**After the document has been approved
Select Employer search under the Employers tab on the far right side of the navigation bar
Type in (specific) company name and hit enter
The company page will appear
Select jobs (for that company located under the company name)
Choose the title of the job you want to apply for
You will see the details of the job and the job requirements
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to apply
Select the Apply button
Upload your resume and/or cover letter and select Submit
Signing up for an Interview
Log on to eRecruiting
Select your active applications under the application tab on the navigation tool bar
-The status of your active applications is displayed in the Employers decision column
-Once an employer has accepted your application and the interview sign-up date has arrived, you may sign up for an interview slot
Click on details
On the Application Details page, under Employer Decision, click on Sign up for Interview
On the interview sign up page, find the schedule date you would like to sign up for and select the Time Radio button associated with the time slot you desire
Click Save and your slot will be reserved.
*** STUDENTS - Do not forget to apply at the company’s website, if that is a requirement!
