University Mentor Positions – Project Mentor is currently searching for applicants in all areas for the Fall 2013 semester. We are currently in need of one upper level MATH major this spring. Mentors work with students with learning disabilities on a one-to-one basis. Mentors will cover class content (homework review, research, paper editing and test preparation), as well as helping with time and task management. Mentors work with their students and arrange their own work schedules, so it is a very flexible position. Typically mentors work a maximum of 8 - 10 hours per week. Skills preferred: junior status with a 3.0 GPA or higher; previous experience as a tutor is preferred but not required; be detail oriented, organized, caring, outgoing and should possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
