Dr. Ross Meloan, is an alumnus of Murray State University with experience in Student Affairs, the Registrars Office and Counseling and Testing since 1977.  Dr. Meloan was also a Director of Franklin College from 1975-77.  He is a 18-year veteran of the Career Services Office.

Dr. Meloan is married to Sharion Meloan, who is the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Finance & Administrative Services.  He recently became the proud grandfather of another aspiring soccer player.

Regina Hudspeth has been with Career Services since the Fall of 2007.    Responsibilities include maintaining the Racer Tracks Networking Database; posting jobs, training students and alumni to navigate by posting resumes, references, and cover letters to the database, maintaining the Career Services web site, planning and implementing the Career Fairs sponsored by the Career Services Office, scheduling and developing on-campus interviews, contacting academic departments with notifications of employer position vacancies, assisting and counseling students with career selections and concerning full-time employment or job search techniques and classroom presentations regarding the services provided by the Career Services Office.

Regina obtained both her BS and MS degree at Murray State University. She is married to Danny Hudspeth, '78, and has two sons; Dominique, '08 and O’Shea (Brooke), Lexington, KY, both University of Kentucky graduates.

Regina encourages all MSU students and alumni to utilize the services that Career Services provides to maximize their career opportunities.  Every MSU student should explore the Racer Tracks Networking Database as well as the Goinglobal resources found on their MyGate academics tab.  GO RACERS!

Donna M. York is the Administrative Assistant II in the Career Services Office.  The first contact you have when you come into the office will be with either Ms. York or our wonderful student workers.  Her duties include bookkeeping, appointment scheduling, supervision and scheduling of the student worker staff, and the day-to-day operation of the office.

Ms. York is also the Program Assistant for the National Student Exchange Program (NSE), which is a great opportunity that allows MSU students to exchange to different universities in the United States, its territories, and Canada for up to a year.

Ms. York has also recently taken over the helms of the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority Work-Study Program (KHEAA).  KHEAA is an excellent benefit to both employers and students alike in that places eligible students in career related positions and the employer receives monetary rewards.  Please contact Ms. York for more details on either program.

Ray Karraker joined the Career Services staff on September 2, 2008 as the Coordinator of Cooperative Education and Internships.  Ray comes to Murray State from a business background in the banking and financial services industry.  He is a graduate of Murray State with his BS degree in economics (’74) and his M.B.A. (’77).  He resides on Crossland Road with his wife, Sabrina and his daughter MacKensie.

Ray is active in his church and enjoys numerous outdoor activities.

Whitney Wicker recently joined Career Services as our newest staff member. Her work ethic and ability quickly boosted her to additional responsibilities and her roll within the department is deeply valued.  Whitney is a December 2010 Business Administration graduate with a Advertising minor. She is currently working on an MBA in Business Administration. Ms. Wicker assists with preparation and critiquing with all job search documentation including resumes, cover letters and reference lists.  She also handles the Mock Interview Program, as well as many other tasks.  Whitney enjoys meeting MSU students and encourages you to stay connected to Career Services through our various social media sites.
