Career Fairs
Career Services sponsors various events throughout the year, including Fall and Spring Career Fairs and Teacher Career Fairs. All students and alumni are encouraged to meet and network with company representatives during these events. Cooperative Education/ Internships
Cooperative Education or Internships provide employers with the opportunity to hire skilled and knowledgeable students to assist with on-the-job projects at a reduced cost with no obligations. The career-related work experience can be a full- or part-time, paid or non-paid, . Employers can elect to use a co-op/intern for a summer, semester or an academic year. Trained professional staff members are available to assist employers in setting up group or classroom presentations at an employers request, pending faculty permission. Topics range from company information to job search strategies.
KHEAA Work-Study Program
The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority Work-Study Program provides job opportunities to eligible students by placing them in career-related positions. The student must be a Kentucky resident, have at least a 2.0 GPA, and be progressing satisfactorily toward completion of a degree. This grant-funded program allows your organization to earn $2/hour for each qualified MSU student. Would you like to review resumes online? If so, you must establish an active file through our web-based eRecruiting Network. Once registered, you will be able to view student resumes, and receive resumes of students/alumni upon request.
