1. All vending commissions be immediately "postdated to July 1," considered as auxiliary funds and handled in accordance with
proper guidelines for these type funds.

2. That the disposition of these funds be as follows:

a. President - Wells Hall.

b. Vice President for Academic Affairs - Library, Wickliffe Mounds, Hancock Biological Station, the Farms and all E & G Classroom Buildings, with the exception of those otherwise noted in this policy.

c. Vice President for Student Development - All Housing and Dining buildings, the Curris Center and Ordway Hall.

d. Vice President for University Relations and Development - Sparks Hall, Breathitt Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, Stewart Stadium, Racer Arena, and the Expo Center (athletic concessions are not considered vending funds for the purpose of
this policy).

e. Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services - Physical Plant facilities, General Services Building and all rental property.

3. The President and the Vice Presidents may budget these funds to their respective departments. Carry-over balances will remain in the respective departments as auxiliary funds.

4. Expenditures from funds earned on vending commissions should be expended for the following: scholarships, student recruitment activities, professional development activities, to supplement operating budgets of the department for non-recurring expenses, and social activities which benefit the entire department. Expenditures from funds earned on vending commissions in the Housing and Dining area can be expended for the following additional items: recreational activities for dorm occupants,
expenses related to extracurricular social activities and any other legal expenditure.

5. A report of expenditures will be made available to the Cabinet at the end of the fiscal year.

6. Interest income from investment of vending commissions will be transferred to the unrestricted E & G account to offset expenses incurred in the operation of vending machines.
