The Graduate Studies Committee met at 2:30 p.m. on February 13, 2003 in the Tennessee Room, Curris Center with Sharon Gill presiding.

Members present: Charlotte Beahan, Sharon Gill, Donna Harris, Bob Lochte, Janis Murphy, Michael Perlow, and Bert Siebold.

Members absent: Janet Brewer, John Crofton, Alison Caldwell, Sandra Jordan, Jay Morgan, Jack Rose, and Jamie Vaughn.

Substitutes present: John Griffin for Janet Brewer, David Balthrop for Sandra Jordan, Ryan Morrow for Jay Morgan, Donna Harris for John Yates.

The minutes for the January 23, 2003 Graduate Studies Committee meeting were approved as written.

A motion was made that this course be approved at second reading and the motion carried.

First Reading:

A motion was made and carried that this reading be tabled until the next meeting.

A motion was made and carried that the first reading for these courses be held until the next meeting.

Requests for Time Extensions

Nancey France submitted the required material for a time extension of degree for Deborah Whitaker. Bob Lochte moved that the request be granted. The motion was seconded and carried.
