1. Initial contact within 48 hours (phone or letter) of receiving retention alert notification. 2. From meeting regularly with the Retention Committee, a recommendation was made that the PIN/Advisor hold system be implemented for Fall scheduling 2003. 3. Freshman Year Leader program restructured through residential colleges. 99% of all freshmen assigned to an FYL. 4. Parents will receive three newsletters per semester with crucial information, important dates, and strategies for helping their students be successful at school. |
1. In most cases met except in peak reporting times (i.e. prior to midterms). 2. Initiative in process. Pilot program to be implemented during spring semester 2003 for freshmen only. 3. Results from spring scheduling will determine if PIN/Advisor hold will be expanded to other classifications of students. 3.
