Day Three was the turning point of Robotics Camp 2009 at Murray State. The session began with a preview of a robotics video showcasing the VEX protobot. Next, campers used the NXT brick to complete challenging tasks from the common pallet of predesigned activities found in the NXT software. "Stop at the Wall" was the name of the challenge that provided campers the chance to use ultrasonic sensor. Campers also used sound sensors in an exciting challenge called "Around the Curve," where they triggered each step of their program by making noise. Next, campers used the touch sensors on the "Find the Wall" challenge activity, where they programmed their robots to approach a wall, touch that wall, and turn around!
