Robotics 2008 Camp
Day 3 -- July 9, 2008
MSU Morning Group

Day Three was the turning point of Robotics Camp 2008 at Murray State. We began with ultrasonic sensors and each team programmed their robots to stop when it approached a wall.  "Near Miss" was the name of this first challenge. This challenge provided campers the chance to use the fundamentals of programming with sensors.  "Bump and Go" was another exciting challenge. This task used the touch sensor to trigger additional steps in the program after touching a wall.  Campers used the NXT brick to complete challenging tasks from the common pallet of predesigned activities found in the NXT software. All campers were excited and are already planning for other challenging events for tomorrow, including the use of the sound and light sensors!
