The campers continued meeting every challenge set forth by the instructors. Today's challenges used the campers' knowledge of programming and touch sensors to complete the first challenge, "Bump-N-Go." Teams used touch sensors on two motor vehicles all in preparation for the Derby events to be held on Day Five. After mastering their first task, the campers were challenged by a programming-intensive "Bump-N-Turn." They learned about romote controlled vehicles and used a remote wireless camera to view their robot's movement from another room to complete their third challenge.
Dr. Manocher Djassemi treated the campers to a tour to the MSU Robotic
Lab where they could see real world applications of touch and light sensors
in industrial applications. Thanks, Dr. Djassemi!
