Getting started!  Today we met each other, formed teams, and got to work. Our first challenge was called "Coast for the Most." We had to design and build a LEGO car that would coast as far as possible after going down a long ramp. Later, we added a bridge to the whole thing and had to consider design issues with our vehicles.  We also designed a one wheeled vehicle that carried a passenger.  From this, we learned good building techniques and how to reduce friction in our cars. This will be helpful when we build our robotic vehicles later in the camp.
