The Murray State Department of Music's Recording Services has two primary functions: 1) to make archival quality recordings of all recitals and concerts for record keeping purposes, and 2) to provide broadcast quality recordings of events that are intended for mass distrubution. Our work appears on public radio, on independent record labels, and has been a finalist for the ITEA recording excellence award*.

Need to schedule the recording of your recital? Take a look at our Services and Policies pages, then submit your request form online here. You will receive a confirmation email after submitting the request.

From industry standard Apogee digital conversion to the legendary quality of Neumann microphones, our equipment captures the excellence of the peformers in the music department. Click here for an overview of our gear.
