What is Wesley?
Murray State Wesley Foundation is a campus ministry outreach of the United Methodist Church for the purpose of receiving and nurturing students within the Christian faith from a United Methodist perspective and equipping those students for Christian services and leadership on campus and beyond. Murray State Wesley Foundation is open to all students, regardless of age, race, gender or church affiliation.
What do we do?
In John Wesley’s Tradition we strive to grow in faith and service using his three principles as our foundation; (1) Do no harm, (2) Do good, (3) Draw closer to God. Weekly, we gather for Christian Fellowship, worship, song, prayer, Bible study, and to nourish our bodies. Monthly we volunteer our talents for community service and mission outreach. Throughout all we make time for fun and friendship, and to build lifelong bonds in Christ’ name. We also coordinate efforts with the United Campus Ministries Association (UMCA) to share with all other Murray State campus ministries in common projects.
