Founded in 1946, the United Nations Independent Children's Emergency Fund helps save, protect and improve the lives of children around the world through immunization, education, health care, nutrition, clean water and sanitation.
2005 Fundraising - Hurricane Victims
This year, half of the funds raised through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF will be used to help Americans devastated by the 2005 Hurricanes.

Additional Fundraising - South Asia Earthquake Fund
In October, South Asia suffered a devastating earthquake that has already claimed over 50,000 lives and left more than 3 million people homeless. What's worse, the first winter snow is expected to arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.
Unfortunately, non-profit organizations like UNICEF cannot help adequately because of a lack of funds. For this reason, our club has decided to conduct an additional fundraiser in conjunction with our regular Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF activities to raise money specifically for UNICEF's efforts in the earthquake-devastated region.

The Rotaract Club of MSU
Founded in 2001, the Rotaract Club of Murray State University works under the guidance of the Rotary Club of Murray, KY and participates in several community service projects throughout the year. This year, this club of students has already raised over $1,000 on campus to assist hurricane victims.
