Popcorn Fundraiser for UNICEF
Rotaract has recently taken on a new project to raise money for its philanthropies. Working with ADM Fundraising, Rotaractors will be selling delicious gourmet popcorn, with all of our profits going to charity. And because ADM Fundraising is a Murray-based company, a portion of each sale will stay in Murray and contribute to the local economy as well.
This year, all proceeds from the popcorn fundraiser will be donated to UNICEF's relief efforts in South Asia, which has been devastated by the October earthquake. More than 75,000 have died, and more than 3 million are homeless. With winter coming in a few weeks, these donations will be used to provide winterized shelter and other necessities.
We have the following popcorn flavors available, ranging from $6 - $8 per bucket:
- Regular Popcorn
- Yellow Gourmet Popcorn
- White Gourmet Popcorn
- Microwave Popcorn (6 bags per bucket)
- Butter Microwave
- Butter Light Microwave
- Ready-to-Eat Selections
- White Gold (w/ almonds and white fudge)
- Mud Puddles (caramel corn w/ peanuts and rich fudge)
- Cherry Cheesecake (taste of cheese cake w/ Cherry Jelly Belly Beans)
- Caramel Corn
- Cheddar Cheese Corn
ADM gets all of its popcorn from Rural Route 1 in Wisconsin. According to their website..
"Attention to detail and quality are the key to success of Rural Route 1 Popcorn, which is hand sorted to select the most perfect ears. And, rather than choosing corn hybrids that have the highest yields, varieties are selected based on taste and tenderness. This attention to quality, not quantity, assures excellent taste and delicate tenderness for the ultimate in gourmet popcorn."
For more information on this popcorn, visit their website.

Additional Fundraising - South Asia Earthquake Fund
In October, South Asia suffered a devastating earthquake that has already claimed over 50,000 lives and left more than 3 million people homeless. What's worse, the first winter snow is expected to arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.
Unfortunately, non-profit organizations like UNICEF cannot help adequately because of a lack of funds. For this reason, our club has decided to conduct an additional fundraiser in addition to our regular Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF activities to raise money specifically for UNICEF's efforts in the earthquake-devastated region.
The Rotaract Club of MSU
