Minutes of the January 9, 2007 Meeting

President Randall Winchester WD4HVA called the meeting to order at 1900 Hrs. In attendance with introductions were:

Reports:

Minutes - The minutes were approved as distributed by e-mail.

Treasurer - Deposits of $139.00; check to SERA $20.00; balance $912.87. Bill Call announced that dues are payable.

Systems - 146.94 machine is still having noise problems. All other systems are working within normal limits. The .94 voter is still being worked on.

Net - 2 Sessions, 21 Checkins, 51 minutes, 17.85 MH

Website - Starting to post minutes as discussed in December Meeting.

QSL - No Activity.

Correspondence - Received a letter asking for our assistance with the LBL Horse Race Friday and Saturday May 18th and 19th, Bill Call will do the initial coordination.

Old Business - Randall WD4HVA reported that the LiTZ project is progressing and the circuit diagram for board preparation has been checked.

New Business - Application for membership for Powell Henderson KI4SII was received and approved (Great CW Callsign!).

Bob K9OIM moved we put News Line on the Echo Link machine; Randall seconded and motion was carried.

Dale WB7D announced that WINDRM digital software is available at www.N1SU.com and that there is a net on Sat & Sun at 2000 on 14.326.

Program - Randall WD4HVA presented the FCC Report and Order on Amateur License Classes (end of code testing requirement), with discussion by members.

Randall also presented a computer video - Field Day with the Palo Alto Amateur Radio Association.

The meeting was adjourned at 2018 Hrs.
