Minutes of the December 5, 2006 Meeting
The program for this month was held after the Business meeting and was a discussion of the new FCC regulations and band plans.

Reports
Minutes of the November meeting were approved as distributed by e-mail.
Treasurer - Balance of $793.87 plus VE fees to be deposited.
Systems - 146.94 repeater is exhibiting a loss of sensitivity due to moisture in the antenna and a possible near miss lighting strike. All other systems are functioning within normal parameters.
Net - 3 sessions, No Traffic, 30 Stations, 69 minutes, 34.5 Man Hours
QSL - No activity.
VE - 1 Session with three examinees qualified to receive new licenses.
Web Master - Discussed various updates to the site.
ARES - No report as there are no active ARRL Emergency Coordinators. Bill Call stated that Jeff Steen does not require ARES affiliation to participate with Calloway County OEM activities.
Old Business -
1. LiTZ - Under initial circuit and circuit board review.
2. NVIS - Several sites selected
New Business -
1. Applications for Associate Membership (Family) for Denis and Debra Barton WB8SKP and W8IBT, respectively, were received and approved.
2. Matt WX4MET reported that the NWS Special Event station had 11 hams participate and made 246 contacts.
3. Library records indicate that the Now You're Talking book donated by the club has been checked out several times.
The purchase of a new book, when available, and donation to the library was approved.
4. Due to the Christmas - New Years University break the January 2007 meeting was scheduled for January 9, 2007.
The meeting was adjourned at 1950 Hrs.
