Old Business

LBL Run Between the Rivers –

Status Report – John Hart, KO4ZE noted that the preparations for the RBTR were going well.  We will need approximately 14 operators to fully staff the event on 15 October.  He will have a signup sheet at the September meeting.

Field Day 2005 –

We scored 1400 contact points and 1170 bonus points for a total score of 2570 points.  The consensus was that it was a good exercise for troubleshooting.  The lack of participants kept the points down.  Changes suggested for next year were:

·         more cable adapters available

·         more participants

·         plan antennas fully before the event

Randall suggested the officers review and report to the club with recommendations at the November meeting.

First Aid Kit

Bill Slayman, KY4NU, reported that he could not find any commercial kits available that meet our needs for a first aid kit.  Instead, Bill is going to donate his old crash kit.  Mark Garland said that MCCH might help replenish the kit supplies.
