Requirements
Undergraduates must:
  1. Be majoring in Accounting, Accounting/IS, or Accounting/Finance
  2. Have achieved junior status
  3. Have completed at least one upper-level (300 or above) accounting class
  4. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in upper-level accounting classes, AND
    1. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, OR
    2. Have a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.25 in last 30 hours of classes
Graduates must:
  1. Be accepted into a graduate program in accounting and be enrolled in at least one graduate class
  2. Have completed at least one upper-level (300 or above) accounting class
  3. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in upper-level accounting classes

 

PLEDGE SEMESTER REQUIREMENTS
  1. Attend all professional meetings
  2. Attend initiation banquet
  3. Attend all social events
  4. Participate in fundraising
  5. Work five VITA sessions

 

MEMBER SEMESTER REQUIREMENTS
(All members in good standing will be recognized at the spring banquet.)
  1. Attend 75% of professional meetings
  2. Attend initiation banquet
  3. Attend 50% of social events
  4. Participate in fundraising
  5. Work four VITA sessions

 

SCHEDULE OF FEES
  • Activity fee - $25 dues at the beginning of the semester (members and pledges)
  • Pledge fee - $45 one time fee due at the beginning of pledge semester
  • Membership fee - $40 one time fee due at time of initiation
