Closet to Campus Move-In Team

DO YOU KNOW A FAIR-MINDED PERSON STARTING AT MURRAY STATE THIS FALL?
If so, share this message with them for assistance moving in.

The Closet to Campus Move-In Team will be made up of students, faculty, and staff from MSU's LGBT and ally community. During freshman and new student move-in on Saturday, August 14 (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and returning student move-in on Sunday, August 15 (12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.), the team will be at the residential colleges, helping students move-in. Individuals will be able to text message or email the team and arrange to have someone meet them at their residential college to assist. The team will assist others, not just LGBT students, on the spot that day as well. Team members will be wearing their pink team shirts (pictured at left).

If you would like to arrange the assistance of the Closet to Campus Move-In Team, text message 270-703-1582 or email jody.cofer@murraystate.edu Thursday through Sunday (Aug. 12-15). You should include: your name, the residential college you will be moving in, and the approximate time of your arrival that Saturday. Also, any helpful aesthetic identifier would be good (can you wear a specific shirt that is recognizable for the team members?).

The team will utilize Thoroughbrewed Café in Hart College as a coordinating base during morning hours. After getting moved in, individuals are welcome to come out and join the team in helping others get settled in!
