1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
Serving on Staff Congress will allow me to provide a voice for the Breathitt Veterinary Center within the university. Since we are not an academic division of the university and due to our geographical location, we are often overlooked. I believe it is important for us to be represented in university decisions. I also believe it is important for decisions made on campus to be shared with BVC staff so that everyone is equally informed and can have every opportunity to have their voice heard.

2. Please list work experience and community involvement. I have been a virology laboratory technician at the BVC for 10 years. In this position, I have served also on several committees including various search committees, Quality Committee, Safety Committee, Internal Audit Committee, Staff Congress, and Faculty and Staff Insurance and Benefits Committee. Outside of work, I serve on the steering committee, provide programming, and organize special events for Jeffers Bend Environmental Center. I also participate in various chamber of commerce and community events.
