1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
Since 2002, I have been afforded the opportunity to work at Murray State University in different capacities such as Admissions Counselor, Student Life Associate, and Director of Student Life and the Curris Center. These positions have allowed me to utilize my communication skills, team building skills, and problem solving skills. I have also utilized these skills while managing, coaching, and mentoring staff and students. These skills have allowed me to bridge the gap and act as a liaison between the community, businesses, parents and all external customers. I am driven by the gift of excellence and servitude while working successfully with different constituent groups. I possess conflict resolution skills. I would like to serve on staff congress as the liaison of the staff addressing the needs, concerns, and interest of the staff members. I am dedicated to Murray State University and would like to continue to give back by serving on Staff Congress.
