The candidate was presented with the following questions. The responses are printed as received and have not been edited by Staff Congress.

1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
I enjoy working with fellow staff members to help make Murray State a better workplace for us all! Over the past few years, I have worked on several committees that have resulted in better benefits, including free parking tags for employees with 20 years service. I am currently on committees working on new benefits for 2016 and the possibility of a daycare facility on campus. I would very much like to continue this work. I've also enjoyed meeting with everyone at the Christmas receptions and kids parties, and our fundraising events for the Staff Book Scholarship. As an officer, the past few years, I've had the privilege of working with MSU Presidents Dunn, Miller and Davies in Leadership meetings. The Staff Congress leadership is extremely dedicated to representing all staff and creating a stronger bond with administration. If reelected I will continue to work diligently on behalf of all staff, and be available for anyone with suggestions or concerns on any matters concerning MSU staff.

2. Please list work experience and community involvement.
Over the past 18 years, I've worked in Athletics (Football Office), the Registrar's office (Registration), and Information Systems (TSCS). Currently, I am the Technology Systems Coordinator, training users and managing our Canvas, Tegrity, Collaborate, Respondus and TurnItIn systems. I also manage our email accounts and listservs. In this role, I work with faculty, staff, and students daily on the use of these software systems. In my free time, I spend as much time as possible with my family and friends on Kentucky Lake, boating and camping!!

Sheri is a candidate in the Executive/Managerial/Professional category.
