1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
My position in Registrar/Registration provides an opportunity to assist students, faculty, and staff with all types of problems and I would like to expand the opportunity and ability to share my knowledge and help staff members in an official capacity. Making a positive difference is important to me and I believe I can do that by serving on Staff Congress. One of my favorite quotes is: "I've learned that every day I can make a difference in someone's life, and that I choose to make it a positive difference." Sally P. Karioth, Ph.D., R.N.

2. Please list work experience and community involvement.
I have worked in the Registrar/Registration Office for almost 9 years. I recently created a petition for the employees in Sparks Hall to obtain picnic tables outside our building and we successfully received 2 picnic tables that are handicap accessible outside our building for our employees. I have not officially been involved in community organizations recently but am a very strong supporter of many on an unofficial basis by continually sharing information to create awareness for organizations, the city, and the university.
