Have you served on Staff Congress before? No
If so, how long did you serve?

The candidate was presented with the following questions. The responses are printed as received and have not been edited by Staff Congress.

1. Why would you like to serve on Staff Congress?
First and foremost I truly love Murray State University. I have been in and around MSU for my entire life and have come to fully appreciate what the school means to the city of Murray and the communities around it. As a staff member, I feel like my work is enhanced by my love for Murray State. If you don't truly love where you work, it's hard to get excited about its mission and your role in accomplishing that mission. So my goal is simple: I want to make it easy for staff members to love Murray State. If their love for MSU increases, the quality of their work and their service to our students will increase as well. I can think of no better way to serve Murray State than to serve its staff. I feel as though my youth and energy will be a welcomed addition to the Staff Congress. Although I have never served on the Staff Congress before, a new and fresh perspective could be of great value.

2. Please list work experience and community involvement.
