Gamma Beta Phi General Meeting Minutes
for October
28, 1999 President:
Kevin Clouse apologized for being unable to attend the previous meeting, and he
wanted to wish that everyone was having a good year. Kevin thanked all those
current members who helped at the induction, and he congratulated all new
members. Vice
President:
Wyatt Alverson announced we will be collecting three different items for the
area schools. We will be collecting Campbell Soup Labels, giving 2 points for
each label (6 Max), General Mills Box Tops worth 2 points for 3 tops (6 Max),
and aluminum can tabs where we decided to call one full sandwich bag worth 6
points. Those bags that are not completely full will have its points adjusted.
We still to tutors to help out at the various elementary, middle, and high
schools as well. Our next Education Committeee Meeting will be on Wednesday,
November 10 at 6:00 PM on the third floor of the Curris Center. Corresponding

The Great One, Casey Johnson, announced we are still accepting canned food for
Needline and animal food for the animal shelter. We are now allowing items to be
brought in and dropped off in Lori Dial’s office. These items will be put in
baskets and taken to the hospital for visits. Points for each item will be
decided at a later date, and these items include lotion, crosswords, magazines,
etc. Also, points will be available for attending the hospital visits. The Great
One’s Service Committee meeting will be Wendesday, November 3, at the 3rd
floor of the Curris Center at 5:30 PM. Recording
Secretary:
Doug Cecil passed around a printout of everyone’s point standings, and he
announced that he has entered names into the database. He is tabulating the
points and they will be posted bi-weekly on the web page. Public
Relations:
Kristy Kilcoyne announced the next social event is this Monday, November 1 at
8:30 at Corvette Lanes. You will receive a point for attending this function. Treasurer
