GAMMA BETA PHI AGENDA 10/18/07

PRESIDENT

VOTE ON T-SHIRT DESIGNS-At the next officer’s meeting, the officers will decide on the new GBP T-shirt design. This gives you all more time to get any T-shirt designs in, so get them in! We have one really awesome design, but don’t let that scare you, get those designs in as soon as possible.

DISCUSS COMMITTEES-Starting in the Spring, you will be receiving points for being on a committee and double points for being a chair on the committee. Will discuss more on this at a later meeting.

GRADUATES-If you are graduating and haven’t already notified Casey, you need to do so. Also, graduates interested in having stoll’s or cords, GBP will pay ½ of the cost of those. For those that have already paid, Casey will check with Lori to see about reimbursing you half of the cost.

STOLL’S, CORDS, SEALS

POINT WEEK-This is going to be nothing but one BIG week of helping members of GBP get points. At the end of the week the person with the most points will win a really “cool” prize. List for volunteer point week was circulated and meeting minutes will be sent if you decide you want to sign up to help coordinate and plan one of the events.

LOOK OUT FOR EMAILS FROM JOHN OSTING, HE NEEDS VOLUNTEERS TO TUTOR- If anyone is interested in tutoring an email will be coming out wo be sure to watch for that. Tutoring is the only way that you can get unlimited points for GBP. You can get 1 point for each ½ hour of tutoring.

WEB MASTER-There will be a food distribution on Saturday October 27 th, 2007 @ 1 st Bapt. Church located at 4 th and Popular in Murray, KY. We will be unloading a semi truck. The times are 8-11 and 12:30-3:30. You will earn 1 pt. for every ½ hour you are there. You can earn up to 6 pts for this event. For anymore questions please email fhlunatie@gmail.com.

ADVISOR COMMENTS-not present at the meeting

If anyone is interested in going trick or treating to raise money for UNICEF, a group will be meeting at the Curris Center at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. All proceeds will go to UNICEF and a portion of the money raised will go to a partner of UNICEF, Polio Plus. For more information, contact sherri.anderson@murraystate.edu.
