Gamma
Beta Phi Minutes September
26, 2002 President Michelle informed everyone that the induction ceremony has been scheduled for Wednesday October 30 at 8 pm. Workers are needed for setup/take down, arrival, and refreshments. Also,
membership dues are only $15 instead of the $20 originally thought.
Those who paid $20 will be reimbursed. She also talked about the regional convention that she and Brian Coe attended the previous weekend at Middle Tennessee State University. There they met with other Gamma Beta Phi representatives from Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, Georgia Southwestern, Bethel, Eastern Kentucky University, UT-Knoxville, Martin, MTSU, Vanderbilt, and Western Kentucky University. National
convention is going to be January 24-26 in Nashville. The hotel rooms with be $72/night/room, with 4 people to a
room. The chapter will cover the
hotel rooms and all you will be responsible for is your food.
There is a registration deadline, so let Lori or Michelle know if you
would like to attend. There is a national scholarship offered each year at
Nationals. If you are interested in
applying, you can see Michelle. Lori
Dial spoke briefly about the scholarship our chapter is going to offer.
She is currently working on criteria for application. Recording

questions about your point status. Corresponding

will be more information at the next meeting. Social
