Gamma Beta Phi General Meeting

Minutes for

April 22, 1999

President: Kevin Clouse announced that today was Election Day. We elected the offices of Vice President, Corresponding Secretary, and Treasurer. We had to have a special election for Recording Secretary due to the results of the regular election. Election results follow at the bottom of this page.

Vice-President: Jennifer Carraway encouraged everyone to continue to collect Campbell Soup Labels and General Mill’s Box Tops for next year. Also, anyone who had volunteered tutoring for the high schools was encouraged to let her know ASAP.

Corresponding Secretary: Wyatt Alverson thanked everyone who participated in the Easter Party. He announced that the Delivery Date for the Murray Animal Shelter Donation will be Monday, April 26 at 3:00. Everyone was encouraged to meet at Lori Dial’s office. April 22 was the last day to bring in magazines to be donated to the area Nursing Homes. While the ballots were being tabulated, a few members of the membership partook of the First Semi-Annual Textbook Exchange.

Recording Secretary: Jennifer Hibbs let everyone know that Doug Cecil had been hard at work at getting the points posted on the web. Apparently he ran into some difficulties with the web site administrators concerning his program, but a temporary chart has been placed on the web.

Treasurer: RJ Hill requested that everyone who attended Nationals needs to pay for your airline ticket by next Friday, April 30.

Public Relations: Kristy Kilcoyne thanked everyone who attended the Social Event at the Paducah Athletic Club. Pictures of the event were taken and have been submitted to the Scrapbook Committee.

Historian: Holly Hudson encouraged everyone to look for items that would be of interest to place within the scrapbook..
