Gamma Beta Phi Minutes March
28, 2003 President Michelle
Hastings said that the Induction ceremony had finally been finalized for
Wednesday, April 16th at 8 pm. It
will be in the small ballroom in the Curris Center.
New certificates have been ordered, and workers are needed. She
brought up some point opportunities, including tutoring, working at Summer O on
April 26, and support the troops through letters/emails. Social
Chair Satinder
is forming a social committee. She’s
excited about getting everyone involved. On
April 13, she is planning a trip to Cheri Theater and on April 23, she is trying
to get a group together to go cheer on the MSU baseball team. Recording
Secretary Shelly
needs a list of May graduates. Corresponding
Secretary Nori
apologized for not having the minutes posted on the internet.
If you have tried to read minutes, but didn’t find any posted, read
some of the old minutes and email her. Treasurer Larissa
has a car was scheduled with the MSU Lions Club on April 12, 11-3 and Hardee’s.
The money will be spilt up according to the number of members each group
has participating. There is a bake
sale scheduled for April 23, 8 am - ?. She’ll
need workers, as well as baked goods. There are t-shirts for sale in Lori’s office for $10.
You get one point for buying it, and one point each time you wear it to a
meeting. ** The
next meetings will be April 24 at 5 and 9 pm, and nominations for the offices of
corresponding secretary, treasurer, and vice-president will be taken. The
last meeting of the year will be on May 1, at 9 pm only.
This is when elections will take place.
