myGate
To access any campus system, students must be able to access myGate first.
Racernet – http://campus.murraystate.edu
Click on the “myGate” link on the right of Racernet.
- If you know your username and password, follow the instructions on the right.
- If you don’t know your username or password, follow the instructions on the left.
Network Accounts (To Access Campus Computers/Register for Bradford in Resnet)
- To activate your student network account, login to myGate. (You can use the username murray and the password racers to login to any campus computer to do this.)
- Click the “Activate Student Active Directory Network Logon Account” link under “MSU Web Account Services”
- Follow the instructions to set a password. Note that your username is now the same as your myGate username.
- If you have already done this and don’t know your password, follow the instructions to change your password.
- You can now logon to any campus computer with your myGate username and your new network password.
Email Access
- To change your email password, login to myGate.
- Click the “Change MSU Email Password (youremail@murraystate.edu)” link under “MSU Web Account Services”
- Follow the instructions to set a password.
- After hitting submit, you can click the “Webmail Murray State University” logo above to access the webmail login page.
Blackboard
- Your username is the same as the first part of your email address (what appears before the @murraystate.edu part)
- If you do not know your password, click the “Forgot Password?” link. *All New Students will need to reset their password the first time.
- Fill in the first three boxes (Option 1) ONLY.
- After hitting Submit, instructions should say “An email with instructions for changing a password has been sent to the email address registered for this user.” If you receive the error "No user accounts were found that matched the information entered," then most likely your account has not been created yet.
- Check your Murray State email for an email called “Lost Password Notification.”
- Open the email, and click the long link provided to set a new password.
