Changing Your Password
It is recommended that you change your password. Tips for creating better passwords can be found at http://campus.murraystate.edu/mailhelp/password_tips.htm.
- Students who do not know their password should go to https://campus.murraystate.edu/onestop/fixmyemail/ to gain access to their email account.
- Faculty/staff who do not know their password should contact CTLT at (270) 809-6116 or stop by our office at 310 Applied Sciences North to gain access to their email account.

To change your password:
- Click on the Settings tab in Webmail.

- Click on the Options link at the top of the list.

- Type in your old password.
- Type in a new password.
NOTE: Your new password must be at least six characters, including at least one number. If your new password does not conform to this standard, you will see an error message and be prompted to revise the password. - Re-type the new password in the (confirm) textbox.
- Click on the Save button at the top of the Options screen to save your password information.
CAUTION!
On the Settings > Options page in Webmail, there are optional fields for forwarding your mail to a different email address. If the checkbox circled below is selected (a checkmark appears in the box) and there is no forwarding address in the "Forward mail to" textbox, all incoming messages will not be delivered. Any incoming messages sent to you while this box is selected cannot be retrieved.
If you do not want to forward your messages to another account MAKE SURE that the checkbox is not selected.
