Download Eudora (Directions and Link)
Note: When you click on a download link on this
page, your browser will display
a new page, similar to the Step 1 graphic
below. You may want to read through
these instructions before clicking on the download link or print
them by clicking
the Print button on your browser's toolbar.
If you do not
already have Eudora Light 3.0 or greater, download
the Eudora
Light installation program to your hard drive and install it. The
following
instructions will help you with the download process and to begin the
installation
process.
The instructions are based on downloading Eudora Light to a Windows
95
computer. Downloading Eudora Light to a Windows 3.1 computer will
be
slightly different. If you need additional help, please contact the help
desk at
2346.
1.) After you click on the download
link, you will be prompted for your network username an dpassword. Once
you have logged in, your browser will display the following
page. Click on the eul306.exe link.
2.) The Save As... box pops up.
Select the folder you wish to save the Eudora installation file
in. In this example
the Temp folder has been selected. Remember the name of this folder,
since you
will need to find it again in order to run the installation program.
Click the Save button.
3.) The Saving Location box will pop up and the installation file,
eul306.exe,
will be saved to your hard drive. Notice the location of this file is
displayed
after the word Saving, in this example, C:\TEMP\eul306.exe.
4.) When the Saving Location box disappears, the installation
file has been
successfully saved to your hard drive. To begin installation, click on
the
Windows Start button, move your cursor to the Run... option, and
click on it.
The Run box will appear. Click the Browse... button.
5.) When the Browse box appears, locate the installation
file. It will be in the
folder you selected in Step 2.
Click the Open button.
6.) The Run box is displayed again. Now click the OK button.
The installation
process will begin.
7.) Follow the installation directions. If you need help, please contact
