MSU Helpdesk Extended Support
Welcome to the Helpdesk Extended Support Page. Here you will find our remote support connection tool, which will enable Helpdesk staff to connect remotely to your machine. Note: Before utilizing the remote support tool, it is important that you contact Helpdesk staff at extension 2346 and speak with a tech who can assist you in establishing a support connection.
Instructions for use:
- Download and run the Helpdesk remote support connection tool, available here: MSU Helpdesk Remote Support Connection Tool
- Contact Helpdesk staff at extension 2346, and request a remote support session.
- Double click on the name of your Helpdesk technician in the remote support window.
- To disconnect from the remote session at any time, right click on the MSU icon in the system tray, and click "Close."
