Sketchnoting to Rewrite or Recast Existing Notes

So, you just took many pages of notes in your favorite course.  You may have even retyped them.  These notes are mainly text based and you are wishing there was a way to rewrite or recast them in a more visual way.  The process of making these notes will help you learn the material and it might be a good resource for studying at a later time.  Can sketchnoting be the answer?  Here are some examples to help you decide.
