How do I access the Elluminate session for my Blackboard course?

Your instructor may provide specific instructions for accessing the session. In most courses, you will find an "Elluminate" button on the left-side menu in your course.

 

After clicking on that, you will be taken to a schedule page for the current date, which will display course links that are currently active. Just click on the title of the session and the session should begin downloading shortly.

 

In some cases, users may encounter an error. Click "Run" or "Start" to proceed. (This error is in relation to the date on the digital signature and will not affect your computer, or the performance on the Elluminate session. Clicking "Cancel" will not allow you into the session.)

 

A new box will pop up for the Elluminate Live! License Agreement. After clicking "I agree", click "OK".

 

Elluminate Live! will open and you will be prompted for your connection speed. After selecting the proper one from the drop-down box, click OK.

 

Elluminate Live! will connect you to the server. After authentication, you will be ready to begin the session!
