Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology is the university’s primary faculty support unit. We also provide training support for staff and oversee the student technology labs. Our many activities are in fulfillment of our mission, which is to motivate and enable the Murray State University community in the pursuit of innovation and excellence in teaching, learning, and technology.

CTLT activities fall within three broad areas:

Teaching – Special events, Annual Teaching and Technology Forums, teaching workshops, technology workshops, Teaching Chronicles newsletters, Teaching Postcards, Roundtable newsletter, TIFF instructional development grants, instructional design support, instructional media development, Smart classroom development and maintenance, Blackboard administration

Learning Manage campus public computer labs, Apex Center, (student technology learning lab), Student technology workshops

Technology – Manage RacerNet (campus portal), technology workshops, staff training events, Student Intern Program, email support, media creation and development, Blitz Week

"Hot Topics in Teaching and Learning" is a blog established by CTLT to explore "hot" topics in teaching, learning and student success.
