In this lesson, you will learn how to delete temporary files from your computer. Temporary files can rapidly
accumulate on your computer from internet sites that you have visited and from programs that you have downloaded. Although many temporary files are harmless, spyware often hide among temporary files. In addition, temporary files take up a lot of disk space and may cause your system to run slower than normal.
Note: The sample screens were captured in Windows XP; consequently, other screens in other versions of Windows may slightly differ.
To delete temporary files, do the following:
1. Go to Start
2. Select All Programs in Windows XP (or Programs in Windows 2000)
