LESSON FOUR - Activate Windows Automatic Updates (weekly)

In this part of Lesson 4, you will learn how to turn on windows automatic updates. The auto update process will not interrupt your work and is convenient since it automatically searches for critical and security updates and installs them on the day and during the time you choose.

To activate Windows Automatic Updates in Windows XP, do the following (see Windows 2000 instructions further below):

1. Go to Start
2. Select Control Panel

In Windows 2000, activate Windows Automatic Updates by doing the following:

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel
